Recording issues

New user

If you’re new to the platform and having trouble while recording a video, it might be due to either of the 2 reasons mentioned below:

• Camera and mic permissions not provided to chrome
• OS is blocking the required permissions needed by chrome/extension 

Old user

If you’ve been facing recoding issues recently but was able to record successfully before, please follow the mentioned steps.

• Refresh the StoryXpress chrome extension and log out of your StoryXpress account
• Restart the browser and log in
• Make sure you are on the latest version of the plugin.

P.S: Make sure you are using the updated version of Chrome browser, while StoryXpress Recorder supports chromium and brave, it might malfunction.
