If you choose Loom’s Enterprise plan, you don’t really know how the costs are being calculated since it isn’t transparent and you know it only when you contact them. However, the pricing for the StoryXpress Business plan is mentioned upfront.

Video Content Management

Want to manage your videos better and organize them into playlists and channels? Well, you can’t do that with Loom. But, you can create and share video playlists or start your video channel easily with StoryXpress, plans starting at $8 per month.

Dedicated Account Manager

Having a dedicated account manager makes using the product a lot easier but if you expect one with your Loom account, you would be disappointed. That’s not the case with StoryXpress though, where you have a dedicated account manager even if you subscribe to the Pro plan for $39 per month.

Limited Editing and CTA Options

Using Loom, you can make quick edits by trimming the beginning or end of your video. And, that’s about it. You can’t crop the video frame or blur sensitive information, if recorded by mistake. Neither can you add intro-outro clips to your brand videos. Also, for calls-to-action, you can just add buttons linking to a landing page. You can’t add static banners, in-video forms for lead generation or schedule meetings in the video itself. You can do all of this using StoryXpress, though.

Integrations

StoryXpress seamlessly fits in your software stack and offers hassle-free integrations with leading SaaS products such as HubSpot, Marketo, Pipedrive, ActiveCampaign, Calendly, CampaignMonitor, Freshworks and Sendinblue. If you use any of these, you can’t integrate with Loom.

CName

StoryXpress lets you host your videos under your domain name. Adding a CNAME record lets you use your own domain on your video pages, thus ensuring domain and brand consistency. Viewers can transit between your website and StoryXpress video pages without recognizing that the content exists on two separate domains. Furthermore, using CNAME, your marketing automation platform identifies the activity from your domain AND the video view from your sharing page as having occurred on your domain and therefore belonging to the same visitor.

Deeper Video Analytics

StoryXpress lets you track deeper video analytics based on the email address of the prospect. On the flip side, Loom only tracks the users who are logged in, but it can’t track the video engagement using email address.
